				&lt;div class="article-summary"&gt;&lt;p&gt;Bangor Savings Bank Foundation is once again kicking off its&lt;br /&gt;unique, grant-making initiative, Community Matters More. As a previous&lt;br /&gt;participant in Community Matters More, they want to be sure to give you&lt;br /&gt;the opportunity to help allocate a total of $100,000 to 68 community&lt;br /&gt;non-profits throughout Maine.&lt;br /&gt;Each of the 48 non-profits listed on the ballot will receive at least a&lt;br /&gt;$1,000 grant for participating in the program, and the top 20 write-in&lt;br /&gt;vote-getters will also receive a grant from the Bangor Savings Bank&lt;br /&gt;Foundation. …&lt;/p&gt;&lt;/div&gt;

			<title>Berry Library selected by the NEH.</title>

				&lt;div class="article-summary"&gt;&lt;p&gt;Recently, the Berry Memorial Library was selected by The National Endowment of the Humanities as a recipient of the &lt;i&gt;We The People "A More Perfect Union"&lt;/i&gt; bookshelf. Berry Library was one of 4000 of the national's school and public libraries to receive this bookshelf.
&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Included in the bookshelf are seventeen hardcover books as well as a number of bonus selections&lt;i&gt;, including The Civil War: A Film by Ken Burns.&lt;/i&gt; Visit the NEH's We The People website for more information about the program.
